KL Rahul has been named in both the ODIs and T20Is squad as he was expected to be rested considering the amount of games he has been playing since WT20. The two match test series against New Zealand was the only series in which he didn’t play in the recent past. India have left out Venkatesh Iyer from ODI squad who was seen as the potential replacement for Hardik Pandya.
