India’s white-ball tour of Sri Lanka starts on 27 July. The Indian cricket team will face Sri Lanka in three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals. T20 series will take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (PICS).
The ODI series begins on 2 August, and all of its matches are to be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo.
For the upcoming series, India will be under the new guidance of head coach Gautam Gambhir. Sri Lanka will also see changes in their coaching staff, with Sanath Jayasuriya stepping in as the interim head coach.
There are reports of senior players – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah – expected to be rested for this tour.
