The Men in Blue will also take part in the ODI edition of the Asia Cup later this year to prepare well for the World Cup.

This impressive result has also earned the Indian team a place in the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final, where they will compete against Australia. However, India ended up suffering a poor 1-2 series defeat in the three-match ODI series at home against Australia which came after brilliant back-to-back white-ball series victories over New Zealand and Sri Lanka in the 2023 calendar year. The Indian cricketers will now be seen in action during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season where they will be representing their respective franchises.

Following their impressive performance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, India has qualified for the ICC World Test Championship final, where they will face off against Australia. After the WTC final, India is scheduled to tour the Caribbean for a series of matches against West Indies. Following this, the Indian side will participate in the Asia Cup 2023, which is scheduled to take place in September at a neutral venue.
