The series between India and Australia has been enthralling so far. While the two games in Nagpur and Delhi was testimony of India’s dominance at home and how have they fared in the home games since the last one decade, the game in Indore was the highlight of the dominant force Australia is. India made a mockery of visitors in two games and the proof of that has been their innings and 132 runs win in the first game and 6 wickets win in the second game to take a 2-0 lead in the series and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the fourth consecutive time. But the Australian team staged a sensational comeback in the Indore Test to thump the hosts by 9 wickets. They were outclassed in all the departments and would be looking to make a strong comeback in the last game. As the fourth game is few days from now, let’s take a look at 3 Changes India can make for IND vs AUS 4th Test:

1. Jaydev Unadkat in place of Mohammed Siraj

Another change that India might look to do for the third Test is that they can bring in Jaydev Unadkat in place of Mohammed Siraj. Siraj has been continuously playing cricket and it’s fair to say that he needs the desired rest for the upcoming important assignments. He did reasonably well in the first two games against Australia and bowled just 6 overs in the third game. With ODI series along with crucial games ahead, Siraj can be rested for the fourth game. In his place, Jaydev Unadkat can be a perfect replacement as he has a great experience with Indian conditions and also recently led his side to the Ranji Trophy win. He can be a great asset to the Indian side even in spin-friendly conditions.

2. Ishan Kishan in place of KS Bharat

India’s team might well be tempted to bring Ishan Kishan into the mix for the fourth game against Australia in Ahmedabad. It’s fair to say that India lacks a dasher in the mix, who can change the course of the game in a few overs. Ishan can be perfect for that role and replace KS Bharat, who hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations with the bat in the three games. Also, the Team would want a proper left-hander batter in the top 5 to counter the spin on Indore and get runs quickly on Indore’s wicket and therefore Kishan might get the opportunity in the fourth Test.

3. Kuldeep Yadav in place of Axar Patel

It’s fair to say that India hasn’t used Axar Patel as much with the ball in the first three games of the series. The all-rounder has done a staggering job with the bat but with the ball he hasn’t been effective in the limited overs he has bowled in the series. Therefore team can look to give Kuldeep Yadav a game in the series. The leg-spinner last played in the Bangladesh and took a fifer in the match. He could be in line to play the fourth Test against Australia.
