IND vs ENG Dream11 Team : Team India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series after a magnificent 66-run victory over England in the 1st ODI in Pune on Tuesday. After losing the toss, India posted an imposing total of 317/5 with Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya smashing fabulous half-centuries each. However, England got off to a stupendous start with Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy hitting the bowlers effortlessly all over the park but then the Indian pace trio of Prasidh Krishna, Shardul Thakur and Bhuvneshwar bowled amazingly to pull things back and hand their team a comfortable victory towards the end. India and England will now lock horns in the 2nd ODI on March 26 in Pune.
1. Virat Kohli
After a sensational performance in the recently concluded T20I series where he ended as the highest run-getter with a remarkable tally of 231 runs in 5 matches, Indian captain Virat Kohli just resumed his duty in the first ENG vs IND ODI match. Kohli played a fine innings of 56 runs off 60 balls that included 6 fours and was also involved in a 105-run partnership with Shikhar Dhawan to provide India with a solid foundation at the top. However, the long wait to witness a Virat Kohli century still continues but he could get to the three-figure-mark in this game as he looked in complete control in the last game.

2. Shikhar Dhawan
After getting dropped from the playing 11 due to poor performance in just the 1st T20I, India’s senior opener Shikhar Dhawan bounced back strongly in the first ODI against England. Dhawan played a top-notch innings of 98 runs off 106 balls that included 11 fours and 2 sixes in the India vs England 1st ODI. The Indian opener has been in a fantastic form in ODIs lately with good consistent performances in the recent years. The southpaw is expected replicate his exploits from the first game in the rest of the games as well.

3. Jonny Bairstow
England opener Jonny Bairstow was at his terrific best in the first ODI match against India. While chasing a total of 318 runs, Bairstow took the attack against the Indian bowlers and along with his opening partner Jason Roy, went berserk from the very first over. The opening duo smashed an outstanding total of 135 runs in just 14.1 overs before a dramatic batting collapse. Bairstow played an astounding knock of 94 runs off only 66 balls that included 7 sixes and 6 fours. 4. Shardul Thakur
India have certainly found a brilliant wicket-taking pace bowler in Shardul Thakur in this ongoing home series against England. He was the highest wicket-taker in the T20I series against England where he took 8 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 21. Thakur also picked up 3 vital wickets in the first ODI match against England and played a pivotal role in helping India make a stunning turnaround while triggering a dramatic England batting collapse. The right-arm pacer will be a vital clog in the Indian bowling attack in the second match as well.
5. Ben Stokes
England all-rounder Ben Stokes had mixed fortunes in the first ODI against India in Pune. Stokes returned with excellent bowling figures of 3 for 34 in his 8 overs that included the key wickets of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. However, while being sent up the order at No.3, the England all-rounder failed to contribute much with the bat. But Stokes will certainly be an impactful player in the second match as he will be contributing immensely both with the bat and ball.
