England and India are going neck to neck in the ongoing second Test match at Lord’s cricket ground. With the match being piquantly poised, the stage is all set for the thrilling final day of the Test match.
After Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara bailed India out of the trouble, it almost seemed like that the Virat Kohli-led side are in a comfortable position. However, things changed drastically in the final session after Mark Wood removed Pujara.
Off-spinner Moeen Ali found some turn to trouble Indian batsmen and removed Ajinkya Rahane for 61 runs. Things got even worse when he struck once again for his team to castle Ravindra Jadeja with a jaffa to leave India in serious trouble. The southpaw got squared up a little to defend the ball but failed to get bat as the ball turned enough and took the off-stump.

England cricket team kept things tight on the Day 4 of the second Test match. The hosts struck thrice in the first session and put India under tremendous pressure with a scoreboard reading 56/3.
With pressure being mounted, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane stood up when it mattered and added 100 runs in almost 50 overs to ensure England’s advantage was cut short. However, Mark Wood delivered an unplayable delivery to Pujara to find his edge for 45 runs in 206 balls. The visitors were further jolted when Moeen Ali removed well-set Ajinkya Rahane 61 runs.
Moeen continued to strike for England as he castled Ravindra Jadeja with a peach of a delivery to leave India reeling at the flag end of the day. Bad light played its role in the final hour as the visitors could reach 181/6 after 82 overs with a lead of 154 runs. Rishabh Pant still is still at the crease for India and will hold key for the Virat Kohli-led side on the final day.
