3   Ishan Kishan 

It was a special day for young Ishan Kishan as he made his debut in the international circuit. However, it didn’t seem like it was his first ever game for India, as he displayed utter dominance with the bat while opening the innings. Kishan went on to smash 56 runs from 32 deliveries, which included five boundaries and four sixes.  He struck 30 sixes in last season’s IPL, which were the most in the tournament. The England bowlers will now be wary of the threat the 22-year-old possesses.

4    Jason Roy

Jason Roy has started off fairly well in the series so far. The specialist opener scored 49 in the first T20I, which was followed up with a 46 in the second. However, he will now be looking to convert his positive starts into big scores which could put a lot of pressure on the Indian bowlers. Roy has scored 985 runs from 40 T20Is, which includes five fifties and a strike rate of 143.8

5   K.L. Rahul

In spite of K.L. Rahul getting dismissed cheaply in both the innings, it would be hard to not have in the list of players to watch out. Rahul has scored 1543 runs from 47 T20Is, which includes 12 fifties and two hundreds. One of those hundreds came against England in Southampton. The Punjab Kings skipper also has a strike rate of 143.7 and an average of 41.7, which makes him a real asset for the Men in Blue.
