IND vs ENG

India vs England: After witnessing a massive 227-run drubbing in the first India vs England Test match in Chennai, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team has come back strongly so far in the ongoing second Test against England. After winning a crucial toss on a rank turner surface, India posted an imposing total of 329 runs courtesy Rohit Sharma’s outstanding knock of 161 runs and fifties from Rishabh Pant and Ajinkya Rahane. In their reply with the ball, India’s premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bowled amazingly well picking his 29th five-wicket haul in Tests to bowl England out for a paltry total of 134 runs.

IND vs ENG: Pujara once again walks back after an unfortunate dismissal

On the Day 3 morning, Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara once again fell prey to a bizarre dismissal as his bat got stuck into the crease and dropped from his hand before eventually, falling short of his crease which forced him to get run out in an unfortunate manner. On the final ball of the 19th over of the second Indian innings, Pujara stepped out flicking the ball to the short-leg fielder Ollie Pope who was quick enough to throw the ball to wicket-keeper Ben Foakes who dislodged the stumps in no time. India’s dependable No.3 batsman was dismissed in an unlucky fashion in the first innings of the first Test match as well while he was playing a brilliant innings of 73 runs.
