India vs West Indies: In a big breaking news development, India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is not playing in the third and final ODI match against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Team India have already sealed the three-match ODI series in their favour post their impressive 44-run victory against West Indies in the second ODI. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and opted to bat first in this 3rd ODI match.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma informed at the toss that the hosts are making a number of changes in their playing 11 from the last game. Yuzvendra Chahal who was the Man of the Match in the first ODI for his amazing four-wicket haul, has been rested for this game and Kuldeep Yadav finally has an opportunity to make a comeback. After recovering from COVID-19, the duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer are back in the India playing XI in place of KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda respectively. Also, Deepak Chahar returns to the side as Shardul Thakur is not playing the IND vs WI 3rd ODI.
