IPL 2019: Complete player list for auctions with base price

BCCI has released the complete list of players who will be taking part in the auctions for the 2019 IPL. The list includes some high profile names and comprises of 346 cricketers.

 

No  Indian player in INR 2 crore price bracket

Initially, a total of 1003 players had registered themselves for the auction which will take place on 18th December 2018 at Jaipur. But then the list was curtailed to just 346 players after all the franchises submitted their list of shortlisted players.

The maximum base price is INR 2 crores and total nine players have registered themselves with this base price. Interestingly no Indian player has opted for INR 2 crores as the base price.

The nine players include Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes, Lasith Malinga, Shaun Marsh, Colin Ingram, Corey Anderson, Angelo Mathews, D’Arcy Short.

Among the 346 players in the auction list, 228 are uncapped players.

The auction will take place in Jaipur and will start at 03:00 PM.

Unadkat leads the list of Indian players

Left-arm pace bowler Jaydev Unadkat who pocketed a record INR 11 crores in the previous season enters the 2018 IPL auction as the Indian player with the maximum base price. He has kept his base price as INR 1.5 crores.

Four Indian cricketers, Yuvraj Singh, Wriddhiman Saha, Axar Patel and Mohammad Shami have slotted themselves in the price bracket of INR 1 crore.

Interestingly pace bowler Dale Steyn has kept his base price as 1.5 crore. England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow has slotted himself in the INR1.5 crore bracket as well.

Windies batsman Shimron Hetmyer who garnered a lot of eyeballs with his all-out aggressive batting and clean hitting in the ODI series against India has kept his base price as INR 50 lakhs.
