SRH Playing 11: With the 14th edition of the IPL on course, the excitement levels are grown with each passing day. Plenty of fans are having a discussion about what their ideal eleven would look like for a particular side. One of the teams who have impressed time and time again are the 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Sunrisers are known to have one of, if not the best bowling attack in the league. Integrated with some power hitters up the order, makes them a team to beat.
With plenty of quality players available in the locker, here’s how the ideal playing 11 could shape up as for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Jonny Bairstow and David Warner are considered as one of the most lethal opening pairs, while, the calmness of Kane Williamson at number adds further quality. Vijay Shankar, Manish Pandey or Wridhiman Saha could be shuffled across, while, Abdul Samada can be utilized for his big hitting ability. Rashid Khan is expected to be the trump card with the ball, and should be provided support by T Natrajan, Sandeep Sharma and the ever reliable Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
They also have options such as Jason Holder, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Nabi, Khaleel Ahmed and the others which makes them a froce to be reckoned with.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad had a slow start to the season in the previous edition, but a good final run of games in the league fixtures booked them a spot in the playoffs. They were eliminated by the Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 2, and will be aiming to go the distance this time around.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad will be locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 11 for their first game of the season. The match will be hosted at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and will start at 7:30 pm (ist). The ball by ball coverage will be done by Star Sports and Hotstar.
