4. Ab de Villiers
Mr. 360 Ab de Villiers just like the last edition won’t be a part of this season as well. de Villiers started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals now) between 2008-2010 and then started his career with RCB from 2011 till 2021. Ab de Villiers has been one of the most decorated players in the RCB setup over the years and after having announced his retirement from IPL cricket in 2021, de Villiers will be in the RCB setup in a new capacity which is yet to be known.
5. Chris Gayle
The ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle is another IPL legend who won’t be a part of the auctions this year just like the last year. Gayle played his last edition in 2020 for Punjab Kings but wasn’t a regular member of the playing 11. Gayle’s absence will be dearly missed by the IPL fandom, and we will see him in the expert panel this time around in the IPL pre-show.
