IPL Schedule: The biggest breaking news development is that the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be kickstarting from 31 March, 2023 where the defending champions Gujarat Titans will be taking on the Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In their debut IPL season itself, the Gujarat Titans managed to win the prestigious trophy after having defeated Rajasthan Royals in the finals as the Hardik Pandya-led GT team performed really well throughout the last season. Just like last year, all the 10 IPL teams have been divided into two groups for the upcoming IPL 2023 season.
As many as 70 league matches will be played in the Indian Premier League 2023 season across a total of 2 months. The Group A of IPL 2023 includes Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants. On the other hand, the Group B comprises of Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The 2023 season of the Indian Premier League will consist of 70 matches that will be played from March 31 to May 21. The games will be held in 12 cities across India, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Mohali. Some matches will also be played in Guwahati, which will serve as the second home ground for the Rajasthan Royals, and Dharamsala, which will be the second home for the Kings XI Punjab. With matches being held in multiple cities and two new venues, the 2023 IPL promises to be an exciting event for cricket fans in India and around the world.
