IRE vs NZ: Ireland Cricket Team is all set to host New Zealand for a three-match ODI series and as many as 3 T20I games. The Ireland vs New Zealand series will start with the first ODI match scheduled to start on 10 July, 2022. All the three ODI games are scheduled to be played at the Castle Avenue in Dublin while the three-match T20I series will take place at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast.
“ICC eligibility rules allow players to represent an Affiliate or Associate nation while still remaining available for a Full Member nation,” a press release from NZC stated.
“However, once they have been listed on an international match team-sheet for a Full Member nation they cannot return to play for the Affiliate or Associate for three years.”
