Ireland vs South Africa: Although Ireland were on the back of a defeat by 70-runs in the final ODI, they did manage to level the series 1-1 against South Africa, and will be taking plenty of heart into the T20I series. The hosts will be eager to come out and surprise South Africa in the shortest format, and do have quite a few exciting prospects that can do the needful. Meanwhile, the Proteas will keen on showing their similar ruthless and aggressive intent like they they did in the 3rd ODI. That being said, here are a few key players from both camps who could make the difference.
Paul Stirling has been one of the standouts for Ireland Cricket over the last few years. The veteran opening batsman has scored 2124 runs from 78 T20Is, while, having a strike rate of 139.3 and 18 fifties in T20Is for Ireland.

The Ireland captain had a series to remember as he struck a fifty followed by a hundred in the first two ODIs against South Africa. Andrew Balbirnie will be anticipated to do well in the shorter format too, as he has been a part of 43 T20Is, and has scored 945 runs, which includes four fifties.
Janneman Malan was named as the ‘Player of the Series’ in the ODIs against Ireland and rightfully so. The specialist opener does have momentum on his side, and can play a pivotal role for South Africa yet again.
