Irfan Pathan’s heart-winning reply to Sachin Tendulkar’s Valentine’s Day post

Sachin Tendulkar retired from professional cricket 5 and a half years ago but the craze around the super human Sachin always remains the same for fans as well as his former teammates.

Sachin Tendulkar has been active in social media with regular updates in Instagram and Twitter handle. He posted pictures of his latest stint in the middle during the Bushfire Bash where he came out to bat one over for a great cause.

After Sachin’s innings out in the middle after 5 and a half years it was there to be seen as to how much the master loves the game. On a special Valentine’s Day post for his social media followers, Sachin posted a glimpse of his net session with the caption – “My First Love”.

As usual his fans went crazy and thousands of them started to flood the comments section. Fans called Sachin the God of cricket, The little master, and all that but Irfan Pathan’s comment won everyone’s heart.

Irfan wrote  – “Aur Aap humare #Firstlove” which literally translates to – And you our #firstlove. Everyone’s first love has got to be Sachin Tendulkar. He has been an inspiration for millions to pickup the bat and play the game. Irfan Pathan’s comment rightly reminded us of that.

The God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar will be featuring in the upcoming Road Safety series which is scheduled to happen from March 7th to March 20th. Sachin Tendulkar will be donning the colours of blue as he turns up for India legends against former legends of other nations. 

Brett Lee, Jonty Rhodes, Brain Lara, Dilshan are all set to appear for their respective nations in this tournament. Fans are eagerly awaiting another wave of nostalgia as Sachin and Sehwag may come out to bat.
