Cricketers worldwide are following the trend of live chat sessions. Joining the queue this time were two prolific batsmen of different dynamics i.e. Blackcaps skipper Kane Williamson and Australia’s swashbuckling opener David Warner.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s skipper David Warner asked his teammate Kane Williamson about his favorite batsman, and the Blackcaps skipper picked Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former Proteas great Ab de Villiers.

“Kohli, in all formats has a real hunger to dominate”, Kane Williamson

Showering praise on Ab de Villiers and Virat Kohli, the 29-year old said;

“It’s very hard to pinpoint one. Someone like AB — I know he only plays franchise cricket now, but in terms of gifted players, he is right up there. And a top guy as well. He’s one of the special players of our time. But (there are) so many quality players,”

“Kohli, in all formats, has a real hunger to dominate. He is so good to watch and play against, and to learn as well. He has set the bar so high,”

Both Virat Kohli and Williamson share a really good bond both on and off the field. The two master batsmen were seen sitting at the boundary lines in the 4th T20I when India toured New Zealand. The picture went viral all over the internet and people were appreciating the friendship these two players possess.

Apart from this, both Warner and Williamson had other conversations as well but this topic was the best one to fetch out.

IPL’s fate under clouds of doubts

In normal circumstances, both Williamson and David Warner would have been playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. The franchise recently announced David Warner as their skipper for this season and he will take over the reins from Kane Williamson who led this team in the 2018 and 2019 editions.
