KL Rahul Wedding: The Indian cricketer KL Rahul finally got married on January 23 (Monday). The righty batter tied the knot with Athiya Shetty, a Bollywood artist and the daughter of the veteran actor Suniel Shetty. The wedding ceremony took place at Suniel Shetty’s villa in Khandala.

Wedding reception to take place after IPL 2023, says Suniel Shetty

Moreover, the ceremony was exclusively private and was joined by only close friends and family members. The guests also had to follow the ‘no phone’ policy, while attending the wedding.

According to some reports, the elected auspicious time for the marriage was 4:30 PM. The event traditionally took place in the Mangalorean style. Supposedly, Indian cricketers Ishant Sharma and Varun Aaron were two of the guests, invited to the wedding.

After the rites, Suniel Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty came out and addressed the media while allocating some sweets on the occasion. Suniel Shetty stated that he would like to be a father of Rahul, not a father-in-law. He furthermore confirmed that the wedding reception will be organized after the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season.
