Mumbai Indians, who are the most successful franchise of IPL, made sure that they tick the right boxes in the WPL auction. They acquired some big names and some young talent too was brought by them. It’s fair to say that their main focus was on buying all-rounders and they achieved that to some extent.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the team as she’s the captain of the senior women’s national team. She will be from the core of the batting lineup along with England, Natalie Sciver, New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr, Yastika Bhatia, and Dhara Gujjar along with keeper Priyanka Bala.

India’s Saika Ishaque is the only designated bowler in the team as all other players are multi-dimensional. The all-rounder department has the likes of India’s Yastika Bhatia, Amanjot Kaur, Humairaa Kaazi, Jintimani Kalita, Neelam Bisht and Sonam Yadav.

Apart from the Indian, overseas all-rounder in the squad are Australia’s Heather Graham, England’s Sabelle Wong, West Indies’ Hayley Matthews and South Africa’s Chloe Tryon.
