NZ vs AUS Stats : New Zealand will take on Australia in the first T20I match in Christchurch on Monday, 22nd February. As T20 World Cup 2021 is just six seven months away both the sides will take this series for that event’s preparation and both have some fine players and it will be interesting fight between them. New Zealand have Kane Williamson, Tim Seifert, Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson etc while Australia have Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Finch, Jhye Richardson, Adam Zampa etc and they will look to give their best on the field to cement their places for T20 World Cup.

1 – This will be the first day night T20I match at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. And New Zealand have lost the only T20I they played here.

2 – New Zealand have won only 2 out of 9 T20I matches against Australia so far. And one of the two wins came in Super Over in 2010.

13+ : Aaron Finch averages over 13 in his last 13 T20 matches and he played all these matches in Big Bash League so currently he is going through a rough phase.

54 – New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson has taken 54 wickets at 20.59 in 38 T20 matches.

100 – Australia captain Aaron Finch needs to hit 3 more sixes to complete 100 sixes in T20I cricket. If he does he will become the first Australian batsman to achieve this feat.

100 – All rounder James Neesham will play his 100th international match for New Zealand.

217 – Martin Guptill has scored 217 runs against Australia in T20Is and needs 12 more runs to go past Brendon McCullum’s tally of 228 runs and become leading run scorer from New Zealand against Australia in this format.

2010 – New Zealand’s last win against Australia in T20I format came in March 2016 during WT20 and their last T20I win against them at home came back in 2010.
