NZ vs ENG: England are touring New Zealand for a two match Test series starting on 16 February. The Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui and the Basin Reserve in Wellington are going to host the encounters. The first test is slated to be played with the pink ball. Brendon McCullum and Co. are the inform team in the longest format. They have just lost once under the leadership of Ben Stokes. Meanwhile, the current holders of WTC New Zealand are languishing at 8th place in the rankings.
Bazball returns to the Test fold once again. Stuart Broad has claimed it is the most fun environment he has ever been a part of. The sky is the limit for this current English side. Matthew Potts makes a return after being omitted for the Pakistan series. Olly Stone, James Anderson, and the returning Stuart Broad will lead the pace attack. Since the conditions are pacer friendly, Jack Leach is the lone spinner named.
Joe Root joins the squad after taking part in the UAE T20. Highly rated upcoming star Will Jacks is also part of the squad. Harry Brook and Ben Duckett were recently involved in the tour of South Africa. Zak Crawley and Dan Lawrence are the other batsmen. Ben Foakes will continue to keep wickets, keeping Jos Buttler out of the squad.
