Rehan Ahmed PAK vs ENG: In an important news update, England’s leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed has now become the youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul on debut during the second innings of the ongoing final Test match against Pakistan being hosted at the National Stadium in Karachi. England have already sealed the three-match Test series in their favour after having registered two historic wins over Pakistan.
18-year-old England leggie Rehan Ahmed has become youngest debutant to claim a five-wicket haul in Test cricket as he went past previous record holder Pat Cummins who picked his first fifer when he was 18 years and 196 days old. During Pakistan’s second innings with the bat, Rehan bowled a sensational spell of spin bowling and took as many as five wickets that included the prized scalp of opposition captain Babar Azam on Day 3 of the final Test. Incidentally, England captain Ben Stokes did not gave a single over to the leg-spinner and he began his spell on Day 3 after a total of 42 overs. However, the 18-year-old debutant wrecked havoc to bundle out the hosts for a total of 216 runs while setting a target of 166 runs in the fourth innings.
On his Test debut for England against Pakistan in the third and final Test match, Rehan Ahmed finished with amazing figures of 5 for 48 during the third innings. He is also the youngest cricketer to make his Test debut for England.
