Pakistan Super League T20: Hazratullah Zazai Available for PES vs LAH Match? Here’s the official update

PES vs LAH: In an important news development, Hazratullah Zazai has recovered from Covid-19 and has now joined the Peshawar Zalmi squad ahead of their game against Lahore Qalandars at the National Stadium in Karachi on 2 February, 2022. The Peshawar Zalmi have witnessed quite mixed fortunes so far in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League T20 2022. The Wahab Riaz-led team did won their opening game this season but then suffered a poor 9-wicket loss against Islamabad United and thus, they have slipped to the fifth slot on the points table.

Hazratullah Zazai Available for PES vs LAH Match?

Ahead of their third game of PSL 2022, the Peshawar Zalmi posted on Twitter that Afghanistan explosive opening batsman Hazratullah Zazai is completely fit and back in the squad. Zazai is most likely to be part of the Peshawar Zalmi playing 11 for the match against the Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday as he also participated in the team training sessions. However, senior wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal is still under isolation while Peshawar Zalmi overseas duo of Liam Livingstone and Saqib Mahmood are yet to join the squad.

While playing for the Peshawar Zalmi in the previous edition of the PSL, Hazratullah Zazai smashed an impressive tally of 212 runs from just 5 innings at a phenomenal strike-rate of 185.96. In his overall T20 career, the left-hander has scored a total of 1988 runs in 70 matches that includes 10 half-centuries and 2 hundreds at a strike-rate of more than 145.
