Pakistan Super League T20: Rovman Powell, Chris Jordan to miss KAR vs MUL?

KAR vs MUL: The Karachi Kings will be locking horns with the Multan Sultans in the opening game of the Pakistan Super League T20 2022 on 27 January, 2022 (Thursday) at the National Stadium in Karachi. The Multan Sultans are the defending champions having won the previous edition of the T20 tournament under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan. In the first encounter of this season, it will be an exciting battle between two superstars of Pakistan cricket, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam.

Rovman Powell, Chris Jordan to miss KAR vs MUL?

In a massive news development, Multan Sultans will miss the services of Rovman Powell atleast in the first few matches of Pakistan Super League 2022 as he is currently part of the West Indies T20I squad playing in the ongoing five-match T20I series against England at home. Powell also smashed a remarkable century in the recently concluded 3rd T20I match against England. On the other hand, Karachi Kings pacer Chris Jordan will not be available for the opening stages of PSL 2022 due to his participation in the West Indies vs England T20I series. Multan Sultans all-rounder Dominic Drakes will also be unavailable for selection as he is too part of the Windies T20I squad.

The WI vs ENG five-match T20I series will conclude with the final T20I game scheduled to take place on 31 January, 2022. The PSL bound players from both the teams will be available after conclusion of the bilateral series.

Pakistan Super League T20 2022

The Karachi Kings have always had the upper hand over the Multan Sultans in the history of the Pakistan Super League T20 having won five of the seven matches played between the two teams over the years. In the previous season of the T20 competition, the Karachi Kings got the better of Multan Sultans in both the matches.
