Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd Test: Hosts Pakistan managed to drew the opening Test match against New Zealand in Karachi as the two-match Test series still stands with a 0-0 scoreline. This means that the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team have not won a single Test match out of their previous 5 Tests at home in the recent while. On the other hand, New Zealand will once again be aiming to perform really well both in the batting as well as bowling departments when they will be taking on Pakistan in the second and final Test match at the National Stadium in Karachi beginning from 2 January, 2023.
According to the latest update, the pitch at the National Stadium in Karachi is once again expected to favour the batsmen during the second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand. The conditions will be nice for batting on the first three days of the Test match and the batters need to make it count once they are set on the pitch. The spinners will once again have a significant role to play in this Test match especially from Day 2 onwards. On the other hand, things will once again be difficult for the pace bowlers on this venue and they will have to rely on consistent line and lengths. The captain winning the toss will once again look to bat first as it will be difficult to bat in the fourth innings as seen over the years.
