PBKS vs SRH IPL : Punjab Kings will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 14th match of Indian Premier League 2021 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday, 21 April. Punjab Kings have only one win from two matches while Sunrisers Hyderabad is still winless after losing first three matches.
Punjab Kings have been abysmal in the last two matches. In one match their batting was poor while in the other one their bowling was. KL Rahul is scoring runs but he needs to score them at a better strike rate and should go for attack once he gets set. Nicholas Pooran can be used more in middle overs than in death overs. In bowling their overseas pacers Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith have been disappointing so far while Mohammad Shami and Arshdeep Singh have been good and in spin they’re struggling and someone like Ravi Bishnoi should be given a game. In batting Deepak Hooda and Shahrukh Khan have been impressive as finishers.
On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost each of three matches so far. Their middle order have let them down and they need Kane Williamson to give some stability and he should come back in this match and one of Jonny Bairstow and David Warner has to play big knocks. The likes of Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar too need to score runs at better strike rates and in bowling Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been poor so far as he is leaking a lot of runs towards the backend of the innings and he needs to pull things back and spinner Rashid Khan who has been good so far needs to continue his good run.
