The West Indies coach was speaking with an Indian newspaper ahead of the first Test between India and West Indies which begins on October 04 at Rajkot.

We are getting better and better: Law

Law noted that not many teams have come here and won and his team understands that. But at the same time he reminded everyone that on the flipside, West Indies are getting better and better.

He further added that his team has  played two good home series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and the team has spoken a lot ahead of the Test series against the mighty Indians.

Law hails West Indies’ spin strength

The West Indies coach also spoke about the team’s bowling department and in particular about the spinners. He said that pace has been their strong point but the spinners can also do the job.

He pointed out that Moeen Ali really took to India in England, bowling into footholes. Taking inspiration from that he stated that they have got to use what is available.

Law noted that Roston Chase is a bit taller than Ali and bowls at similar pace. He further added that Devendra Bishoo and Jomel Warrican have got some good control as well.
