India A began their UK tour with a victory after thrashing the England Cricket Board XI by 125 runs backing on the half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan.
Shaw scored 70 runs to help India post 328 runs in allotted 50 overs. Skipper Shreyas Iyer also smashed 54 runs off 45
balls and Kishan scored 50 off 46 balls before the bowlers restricted the hosts for 203 in 36.5 overs.
For India A Deepak Chahar starred with the ball to pick 3 scalps for 48 while Axar Patel picked 2 wickets and conceded 21 runs.
This was India's first game ahead of the ODI tri-series which involves England Lions and West Indies slated to start from June 22.
India A will also play England Lions and West Indies A in two unofficial Tests in July.
