RCB vs RR IPL Stats : Royal Challengers Bangalore hammered Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets in the 16th match of Indian Premier League 2021 in Mumbai and registered their fourth win from fourth match in this season while Rajasthan Royals suffered their third defeat of this season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bat first. Mohammad Siraj and Kyle Jamieson gave them a good start as both picked three wickets inside first five overs and the poor form of Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra continued, David Miller bagged a duck. Captain Sanju Samson played couple of good shots but couldn’t convert his start into big one and at 43/4 Rajasthan were reeling. Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag counter attacked and their 66 runs partnership brought team back in the match. In the end Tewatia too played some big shots and thus Dube’s 46, Tewatia’s 40 and Parag’s 25 helped Rajasthan Royals to finish on 177/9 in 20 overs.
In reply Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal gave a good start to their team as the left hand opener took full advantage of power play and smashed all Rajasthan bowlers and these two kept scoring runs for fun and eventually in the 17th over they scored the winning run and thus helped their team to secure a record 10 wickets win. Padikkal played a brilliant knock of 101* runs while Kohli remained not out on 71.
