Born on June 21, 1996, in Hobart, Tasmania, Riley Meredith is a right-handed fast bowler who bowls with a sear pace, able to hit pace above 140 KMPH on a consistent basis.
Fact 2: Domestic Debut Against Pakistan
Riley Meredith made his domestic debut against visiting Pakistan in January 2017 playing for Cricket Australia XI.
Meredith was making waves in the Australian domestic setup. He became Tasmania’s leading bowler in 2017 in Jackson Bird’s absence.
In the same season, 2017, Meredith was handed his Sheffield Shield debut for Tasmania.
Fact 3: Australian Call Against New Zealand
After a scorching BBL 2020 season, where the 24-year-old picked up 16 wickets, Meredith was called for Australia’s New Zealand tour where he was given his T20I debut.
