Roger Federer has challenged Virat Kohli and a handful of other global sports superstars to come up with their own solo drill after the Swiss maestro posted an interesting video on his official Twitter handle.

As people around the world get accustomed to stay indoors to check the spread of novel coronavirus, famous people, especially sports superstars, are relatively more active on social media these days. From posting funny videos to passing on a social message, distinguished people are doing everything to keep their fans entertained and informed. And Federer is showing that he has many social tricks up his sleeve as he has when he has the racquet in his hands.

Roger Federer’s challenge to Virat Kohli

In his latest tweet, the 38-year-old Tennis superstar, while donning an all-white outfit, including the hat, can be seen hitting a ball with his racquet on the wall.  He captioned the video-

“Here’s a helpful solo drill. Let’s see what you got! Reply back with a video and I’ll provide some tips. Choose your hat wisely.”

Roger Federer nominates sports legends

Federer tagged our own cricket superstar Virat Kohli in the video, as well as global icons such as two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as Luka Modric, Coco Gauff,  and WWE legend The Rock.

What Federer is trying to do is that he is sending a message through the video that, during this time of crisis when staying indoors is the only way to thwart the danger of covid-19, it’s possible to keep ourself entertained and occupied even within the walls. That we can indulge ourselves with what we love to do. If Federer can play Tennis with his wall, we can do our part as well.
