The Delhi Capitals disastrous season continued on Sunday afternoon as they lost their third game on the trot of the season. Warner won the toss and opted to field first, but his decision backfired as Jaiswal and Buttler gave RR a rollicking start. The openers dominated Delhi’s bowling lineup and stitched a 98-runs partnership off just 51 deliveries. That was it to put Delhi under the hammer and then the carnage never stopped before RR finished their 20 overs with a score of 199 for the loss of 4 wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal for his blistering 60 off 31 deliveries was declared Man of the Match.

RR vs DC: RR openers onsluaght was carried forward by Trent Boult’s fiery swing
As mentioned above, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler gave RR the start they needed. The opening duo was at their fierce best and was the cornerstone of RR’s first innings total of 199.
