The SA vs PAK white-ball series will begin with the 1st ODI on April 2 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. Pakistan captain Babar Azam will be hoping to lead the side from the front with brilliant batting performances in the upcoming white-ball series against South Africa. In 77 ODIs, Babar has composed an impressive tally of 3580 runs at an average of 55.94. The stylish Pakistani batsman has notched up 16 fifties and 12 centuries. Babar is currently placed on the second position in the ICC ODI Rankings for the batsmen.

3. Kagiso Rabada
South African speedster Kagiso Rabada will surely be playing a pivotal role in the upcoming three-match PAK vs SA ODI series. The Proteas pace spearhead has taken 117 wickets in 75 ODIs at an economy of 5. The fast bowler has also picked up 4 four-wicket hauls and one five wicket-haul in 50-over cricket. Rabada is currently ranked sixth in the ICC ODI Rankings for bowlers. Thus, he is expected to be a key wicket-taker for South Africa in this ODI series.

4. Shaheen Afridi
Lanky left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi has proved to be a great wicket-taking asset for Pakistan across formats in the recent few years. In 22 ODIs, Shaheen has picked up a total of 45 wickets at an average of 21.64 which includes two five-wicket hauls. In the recent two-match Test series against South Africa, the Pakistani fast bowler secured 7 scalps which includes an impressive four-wicket haul in the fourth innings of the second Test match.

5. Mohammad Rizwan
Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been in a tremendous form across formats in the recent few months. He was the Player of the Series in both the Test as well as T20I series against South Africa at home. In 3 T20Is, Rizwan scored a total of 197 runs at a phenomenal average of 98.50 which includes a brilliant century as well. In 35 ODIs, the Pakistani batter has scored 730 runs at an average of 30.42. With an impressive tally of 297 runs in 5 games, Rizwan was the highest run-getter in PSL 2021 before the tournament was postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus.
