Shoaib Akhtar reveals nicest Team India cricketer


Shoaib Akhtar hogged the limelight with his recent comments on Danish Kaneria. The former Pakistani speedster is again creating news waves but this time although in a positive way.

In his recent video on YouTube, Shoaib Akhtar reveals Ashish Nehra as the nicest human being he has played with. When asked about the same by a viewer on his YouTube Channel, Shoaib straight away took Nehra’s name and added that he was always ready to help. He also recalled camaraderie between players from both the countries.

Shoaib also praised BCCI for naming Sourav Ganguly as President and also suggested Pakistan Cricket Board to follow the same path. The former Pakistan cricketer said it is always welcomed when a cricketer is administrating the operations of cricket governing body of the country.

Players from India and Pakistan are always giving their hands to improve the relationship between both countries. Cricket is continuing to get affected due to political issues across the border. Shoaib Akhtar also added Mohammad Yousuf’s name into the list. He said that Yousuf was particularly polite and helpful towards other players in the dressing room.

Ashish Nehra played across two decades for Team India before retiring in 2017. He has taken 157 wickets from 120 ODI matches. His career highlight came in 2003 World Cup at Durban when he ran through English batting lineup by taking a 6-fer.

Nehra made his debut in 1999 and is currently working as a broadcaster for various platforms.

Shoaib Akhtar and Danish Kaneria controversy

Shoaib Akhtar was in the news recently with his comments regarding Danish Kaneria. He said there was discrimination towards Danish Kaneria in Pakistan dressing room only because of the fact that Danish was Hindu. Later on, Shoaib clarified that he was only pointing towards some of the senior players. But that comments gave Indian Political Parties something to talk about in the buzz of Citizenship Amendment Act in India.
