Shreyas Iyer took an impressive catch to dismiss Shamarh Brooks four runs short of a half-century during the first ODI between India and West Indies during India’s tour of the West Indies in July this year. Brooks was looking set for a half-century in the 24th over of the match after Mayers had crossed the mark earlier in the innings; however, Shardul Thakur broke the gritty stand as he enticed Brooks into playing a pull shot on a slower back-of-the-length delivery. The Windies batter failed to connect properly, and couldn’t find the distance as he was caught by Shreyas Iyer at deep square leg. Iyer made a distinctive dancing celebration after making the catch as he turned to face the crowd and appeared to be grinning.

Shreyas Iyer once danced with Dhanashree Verma, the wife of leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The pair collaborated for a performance that astounded some users on social media. Iyer and Dhanashree may be seen doing the shuffle dance to SAINt JHN Rosesong in a video that was posted on Instagram. The then leader of the Delhi Capitals was sporting black shorts, a tee, and sneakers.

Dhanashree, on the other hand, wore a yellow co-ord tracksuit and looked stylish and at ease. The duo’s performance received compliments and responses from people all across the world. The two were praised for their dancing routine by all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Team India fielding coach R Sridhar, and Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan. Dhanashree herself posted, “Killing it and how,” in the post’s comments area.
