SL vs IND 1st ODI: Possible Playing 11 of India

IND Playing 11: A new look India will take on the hosts Sri Lanka in the first ODI of the series here at Colombo. After many obstacles, this series is finally going to start. India will play with a second-string side led by opener Shikhar Dhawan as most of the first-choice players are in England for the Test series. This will be a test of India’s bench strength and a great opportunity to test some fellow IPL stars in international cricket. India leads the head-to-head record over Sri Lanka in ODIs 91-56.

  • Shikhar Dhawan will be India’s captain for this series while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named vice-captain.
