South Africa vs England: South Africa are locking horns with England once again in the third and final ODI being played at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley. The Proteas are not just eyeing a whitewash, a win today will more or less secure them a direct entry into this year’ World Cup to be held in India. With a short turnaround between matches, both sides have been changing their playing eleven. The latest development from the Protean camp is that Anrich Nortje misses out. Why is Anrich Nortje Not Playing Today?

Anrich Nortje is a searing fast bowler who has made his name in international cricket with his extreme pace bowling. He is a household name in India thanks to his stint in the IPL. It took him some time to get going with his national side but now he is a vital cog in South African bowling unit, especially in the white ball formats.

Anrich Nortje is simply rested for this third ODI. Skipper Temba Bavuma mentioned in the previous game that they want to challenge themselves, leaving out Kagiso Rabada and Sisanda Magala in the process. Notrje was the destructor in chief in the first game, picking up four wickets. He added two more wickets to his tally in the second game.
