Sri Lanka quick ruled out of World Cup 2019

Sri Lanka suffered a massive blow as fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep has been ruled out of the World Cup 2019, following a bout of chickenpox. Sri Lanka are in contention for a place in the semifinals, needing wins in their remaining fixtures against West Indies and India and other results falling in their favour.
Kasun Rajitha recommended replacement
Sri Lanka have recommended Kasun Rajitha’s name to International Cricket Council (ICC) as the replacement. Rajitha has represented Sri Lanka in six Tests and ODIs for Sri Lanka. If ICC approves the request, Rajitha might feature in SL’s next fixture against Windies.
