Super Smash Schedule for 2023 Season is here! Six teams are set to compete in the latest season of Super Smash as the New Zealand Cricket Board announced schedule for the upcoming campaign. The latest season will start on December 23, just two days before the Christmas with Northern Brave taking on Canterbury Kings in the opening fixture.
There will be 32 matches in the men’s division while same number will allotted to the women’s division. The matches will be contested in 10 different venues and will have double-headers coinciding on the same day with the women’s matches.
This season the Super Smash will also see the return of Nelson’s Saxton Oval as it was missing from the calendar in recent years.
The Super Smash will be the ninth season since it was rebranded and will see Northern Brave start as the defending champions after they had beaten Canterbury Kings in last season’s final.
The final of the Super Smash will be played on February 11 on the team that finishes top of the league standings. The competition will this time last for 51 days.
