After eight successful editions of one of the most popular domestic franchise leagues in India, the Sriram Tamil Nadu Premier League, fondly known as TNPL, is back with its ninth edition. The tournament is slated to kick off on June 5th, with the best domestic circuit talent of Tamil Nadu coming together for the ultimate glory. Like the previous edition, eight teams will be fighting it out for almost a month to claim the title on the 6th of July. The opening game of this season will be the rerun of the finals of last season. The defending champions, Dindigul Dragons, will kick off their title defense against last season’s finalists, Lyca Kovai Kings.
