Shane Watson Vs Kieron Pollard, 2013

Kieron Pollard seems to have a special place in his heart for the Australian players as he was again involved in an altercation with an Australian. This time it was with Shane Watson who was playing for Rajasthan Royals. This incident was sustained all throughout the duration of Watson’s presence on the field while batting. Kieron Pollard and Shane Watson were seen aiming words at each other from the 5th over to the 10th over of the innings when Watson departed. This continued even after Watson’s dismissal when Pollard was fielding at the long-on fence. Shane Watson was still intimidating him with his words from the dugout. Eventually, Rajasthan captain Rahul Dravid decided to get involved and He ordered Shane Watson to go and sit in the dressing room to end the matter.

Dwayne Bravo Vs Kieron Pollard, 2012

Two of the biggest entertainers of the game and fellow Trinidadians, Dwayne Bravo & Kieron Pollard have been involved in banter on the field in various T20 leagues across the world. But one incident when it was more than just friendly banter and both were at serious loggerheads took place during the 2012 edition. Mumbai Indians were locking horns with Chennai Super Kings in an eliminator match at Chinnaswamy stadium. When usual suspect Kieron Pollard came in to bat in the 2nd innings of the match, Dwayne Bravo welcomed him in a typical Caribbean way and sparks continued on for quite some time. This one reached its threshold when MI batsman got dismissed by Dwayne Bravo and he gave a send-off to Kieron Pollard, signalling him for a flight back home as Mumbai Indians were all but out of the season.
