Virat Singh IPL: When a team fails to execute plans and the bad run of results seem unending, the easiest way to haul the team out often goes through making changes. Or it seems. That’s what Sunrisers Hyderabad has done ahead of the match against Mumbai Indians. David Warner revealed at the toss, won by MI captain Rohit Sharma, that a total of four changes have been made in the MI vs SRH IPL 2021 match which is being played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
One of the players making his IPL debut for SRH is Virat Singh. His name may toss over your head, for it’s highly likely that you may not have heard about him, but what we are going to tell you will surely catch you off guard.
SRH bought him for a whopping INR 1.9 crores in IPL 2020 auction. Paying that much amount for a rookie often force the team management to pick him in playing 11, or at least give the player a game or two during the course of the season, but Virat Singh had to be patient for his chances. Opportunity knocked at his door as David Warner and Co handed him a debut against Mumbai Indians.
29-year-old New Zealander Adam Milne is also handed his IPL debut by Mumbai Indians in MI vs SRH IPL 2021 match.
