Ben Stokes sixes : The No.1 ODI team England has set the stage on fire in the ongoing India vs England 2nd ODI in Pune. Earlier, India registered an amazing 66-run win in the first ODI match to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. India have posted an imposing total of 336 for 6 in their quota of 50 overs but the England top-order of Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes have absolutely dismantled the Indian bowling attack so far in the second ODI match.

Ben Stokes three sixes in a row

England’s opening duo of Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy once again went berserk from ball one in the second IND vs ENG ODI match. The opening pair smashed a terrific partnership of 110 runs in 16.3 overs. While continuing to bat at the No.3 position, Ben Stokes was also in a mood for some explosive hitting. During the 33rd over of the chase, Stokes smacked Kuldeep Yadav for three back-to-back sixes down the ground.

Kuldeep conceded a total of 20 runs in his 9th over of the game. However, the England all-rounder didn’t stopped with that as he smashed Krunal Pandya for 28 runs in the very next over.

Ben Stokes six hitting exhibition

There was no place to hide for the Indian bowlers in the second ODI as England’s batting pair of Stokes and Bairstow unleashed terrific power hitting prowess. The duo composed a stunning partnership of 175 runs for the second wicket to completely take the game from India’s reach. Bairstow scored a remarkable knock of 124 runs off 112 balls that included 11 fours and 7 sixes. However, Stokes missed his well-deserved hundred by just one run as he was dismissed after playing an astounding innings of 99 runs off 52 balls that included 10 sixes and 4 fours. India have fought back slightly with the wickets of Bairstow, Stokes and Jos Buttler in quick time but England are still far ahead in the match and are all set to level the three-match ODI series.
