The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League resumed yesterday and it was the Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi who locked horns with each other in Eliminator 1. During the intense playoffs match, one hilarious incident happened.

Chasing 171, Qalandars were cruising quite comfortably with the partnership between Mohammad Hafeez and Ben Dunk. In the 12th over of the match, Dunk was dismissed and to everyone’s surprise, the non-striker Mohammad Hafeez accompanied him to the dugout. This created confusion among the viewers, on what was really happening there. It led to an unplanned break in between the innings. During the break, the opposition players Wahab Riaz, Imam-ul-Haq, and Shoaib Malik were having a chat. Commentator Ramiz Raja intervened in their chat through the spider cam and started talking to them during the break.

During the conversation, Raja asked them if they can time out Mohammad Hafeez who was delaying the proceedings. As a reply to it, Zalmi keeper Imam ul Haq revealed the conversation that he had with Hafeez a few overs prior to the incident.

He stated that Hafeez was telling him for the last couple of overs that he wanted to go to the washroom badly.

“2 overs se keh raha hai mujhe susu aaraha hai,” Imam said.

Soon after this comment was made, Hafeez got back into the middle and played a match-winning knock to take Qalandars home quite comfortably. He scored an unbeaten 74 from 46 balls.
