The Pakistan Super League is alive and going strong by providing entertainment to the Pakistani cricket loving public and also the fans all over the globe. The popular T20 league has reached midway point with just over 10 days of action left until the qualifiers come into picture.

The teams are battling hard and almost each team has faced every other team atleast once in this tournament.

Nicely poised mid table clash

On Monday evening Karachi Kings locked horns with Peshawar Zalmi in match number 15 of the Pakistan Super League. Karachi Kings were placed fifth in the points table and Peshawar Zalmi were in the third spot.

But a win for Karachi Kings would mean they will leapfrog ahead of Peshawar Zalmi and take the third position in points table and that is what exactly happened. With two evenly matched teams on paper taking on each other, it was a mouth watering contest.

Eventful first over of the match!

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl on a good looking Rawalpindi wicket. It was a dream start for Karachi Kings as Mohammed Amir bowled a peach of a delivery first ball to have Tom Banton struck on the crease right in front of the stumps. He was given out LBW and in walked the in-form Haider Ali.

He middled the ball first up straight down the ground for four as if he was batting on 100 not out. After being struck past him for four, Mohammad Amir had yet another dream delivery to send the stumps of the batsman flying.

It was a good length ball that pitched around off and swung back into the right hander just enough to miss the inside edge and crashed into the stumps sending the off peg for a walk. Here’s the clip that shows the dream delivery of the fast bowler.

Peshawar could only muster a score of 151 in their 20 overs courtesy some solid batting by veteran Shoaib Malik. Mohamed Amir finished with a four for in the end and took away the Man of the Match award. Babar Azam was the other contender as he anchored a well timed chase by scoring 70 off 59.
