On this day in 2001, VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid walked out to bat at the Eden Gardens on a humid March morning. The history was re-written that day and it marked one of the greatest comebacks cricket has ever witnessed. After being routed by 10 wickets within 3 days in the first test of the series at Mumbai, India came back to win the series 2-1.
