The Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has spent the last couple of months in quarantine in his Mumbai residence and is now looking hungry as ever for doing what he knows best – scoring truck loads of runs.

The captain spoke about the much awaited return to the game and also on various topics such as the 2014 England tour and his captaincy credentials in the chat show with the newest test match opener for India – Mayank Agarwal.

Mayank Agarwal was very pleased in having Virat Kohli as guest in his chat show so that he can ask questions relating to captaining the Indian team. When asked about what is his X- factor as a captain Virat Kohli said

My only aim is for people to realise how good people can be. It’s the whole team. If we can get together like that you’ll be unbeatable with your work ethic and discipline

Mayank Agarwal also had questions related to the 2014 tour of England which was in personal terms one of the disasters for Virat Kohli the batsman. The courage and determination that Virat Kohli has shown to put all that behind and play the way he had leading the way in 2018 tour of England was admirable.

“2014 tour was always going to be the milestone in my career. Lot of people take good tour as a milestone but for me that was a milestone,” said Virat Kohli.

He also spoke extensively on the technical adjustments he made as a batsman to counter swing bowling. Apart from that Virat Kohli also revealed that the tips from the legendary Sachin Tendulkar was helpful to achieve what he wanted in the 2018 tour.
