The series decider third T20I between India and Sri Lanka took place in Rajkot. It was a game that had class of Suryakumar Yadav written all over it. His staggering effort with the bat was well complimented by Indian bowlers as the hosts won the game by runs and bagged the series by the margin of 2-1.

India won the toss and opted to bat in the third game against Sri Lanka. Their decision to bat first seemed a bit rusty early as Ishan Kishan was back in the hut for just 1 run and Shubman Gill too was struggling to get going initially. But Rahul Tripathi (35) changed the momentum with his staggering innings. His helped Gill to settle as well as he smashed a classical 46 runs.

However, the entire show was stolen by Suryakumar Yadav as he played another ‘video game’ types innings and smashed bowlers all over the park. The right-hander smashed his third T20I ton, scoring 112 runs and helped his side score a total of 228 runs on the board.

Chasing the target, Sri Lanka got off a fiery start but after that lost wickets in clusters that saw them tumbling 51/3. Dhananjaya de Silva (22) and Charith Asalanka (19) played well but Indian bowlers were right on the top of the game as they kept taking wickets at regular intervals and left them tottering at 123/7. Dasun Shanaka was the lone fighter for his side with 23- run knock.

But it was India, who displayed magnificent performance and win the match by 92 runs. Apart from Shivam Mavi, every bowler was amongst the wicket as the hosts bundled out of the opposition for just 137 runs. Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers and returned with the figures of 3/20.

Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav was awarded Man of the Match in the third T20I against Sri Lanka. The right-hander came to bat when India was tumbling at 52/2. He went all guns blazing right from the ball 1 and made mockery of Sri Lanka bowlers. He scored unbeaten 112 runs with the help of 7 fours and 9 sixes and batted with a strike rate of over 200 to help his side win the game.
