WI Playing 11: After a thrilling victory in the first T20I, West Indies will be up against Australia in the second T20I here at St. Lucia. Windies were down and out for most of the match but a stunning comeback from their bowlers turned the game into their favour. McCoy was adjudged Man of the Match for his 4 wickets while the return of Hayden Walsh Jr. proved fruitful for them. Both teams have met 12 times in T20I cricket in which West Indies leads Australia 7-5.
Team News
Kieron Pollard’s hamstring injury ruled him out of the last game. There are no updates on his fitness as yet. If the skipper is fit, he is likely to replace Shimron Hetmyer.

Despite being on the backfoot for most of the match, West Indies showed why they are such a dangerous team in this format. The batting though, needs to perform now and give the bowlers a good score on the board. Andre Russell’s maiden international fifty gave WI a respectable total but players like Gayle and Pooran are expected to do much more. In bowling, spinners are looking in good form while Obed McCoy has been excellent since the SA series.
