WI vs SL Stats : West Indies will take on Sri Lanka in the first of three T20I matches in Antigua on Thursday, 4 March. West Indies is one of the top sides in this format and they will look to kick off this series with a win. The return of Chris Gayle has boosted their batting line up and the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Akeal Hossein are in fine form as they did well in domestic tournament and will look to continue their good run. On the other hand, Sri Lanka who have struggled in this format for a long time will look for a fresh start and some of their players did well in Lanka Premier League and they need to replicate that performance in this series as well. This is an important series for both the teams as T20 World Cup 2021 is just six months away and players will look to cement their places for that mega event.
